Storms of Life

As the storms rise up and above
And the thunder rolls and crashes
I think of God's awesome love
When life ends I will return to ashes

Even through wind and rain
I take with me all those who bless me
And when the hail causes much pain
I will find the strength within to simply be

As I walk along, I know I am never alone
And when the nights are longer than the days
I think of your making me feel at home
When night ends, that flicker of hope is sun's rays

Even through sleet and snow
I take with me all that you have given
And when the ice glazes over all we know
I will look upon your face like Heaven

As the storms come to be
They will surely come to pass
There are many beautiful rainbows to see
When they do it's a memory held steadfast

Storm will rise up and above
And always remember when thunder rolls and crashes
Think of all of life's awesome love
For when this life end I will return to ashes
