New work posted under the "Rhythm" series, titled "The Machine That We Built". This was from another three-model shoot. Rhythms started out more as a study of motion, in the manner Eadweard Muybridge, though modernized a bit via Photoshop and put under low key lighting. This, of course, has evolved into something entirely different at this point, and I think really serves as an outlet for more abstracted works. The latter of these works are more autobigraphical in nature, or reflecting on personal experiences or dreams.
There are also a few new works under the Black and White Nudes portfolio, also from the same shoot.
I also began work on the first set of images for the 21 project, however, after shooting them, I found a better lighting setup, so I'm back to square one on that little idea.
It has been a busy month. I have some work submitted to some shows coming up in March. More on that later when I have the specifics.
My work has recently been on display at the Benzie Drop In Center's first juried art show, which ran from January 26th to February 16th. Additionally, I got a bit of airplay (or wordplay?) in Urban Mainstream Magazine for some of my work, as well as a few other things that I've been involved in. I've been receiving some good feedback lately, which is encouraging.
